Why Trustlee

A considered approach to family records

Gentle, unhurried sessions

Sessions move at your household's pace. Nothing is rushed, and every step is explained before it is taken.

No legal opinions given

Trustlee is an organisational and educational service. We do not advise on legal positions, asset arrangements, or financial matters.

Tangible materials each visit

Every session ends with something you can hold — a printed index, a labelled binder, a working handbook for your family's records.

Family-facing, not just individual

Workshops and programmes are designed to involve multiple family members, so the system is understood by more than one person in the household.

Based in Kuching, Sarawak

We are a local Sarawak service. Our team understands the documents, institutions, and cultural context that Borneo families carry with them.

Discreet and confidential

We handle your household's records with care. Information shared during sessions stays within the session and is not recorded or retained beyond the visit.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

What exactly does Trustlee do?

Trustlee helps households organise their personal records and heritage materials into a clear, labelled folder system. Our work is purely informational and archival — we help you know where things are and how they are named, without providing any legal, financial, or professional advice.

Who would benefit from a Family Records Visit?

Any household that feels their documents — insurance papers, property files, letters, certificates — are scattered across different rooms or storage boxes. A visit helps a family spend a few hours laying those records out and building a simple, readable index of what exists and where.

How long does each session take?

A Family Records Visit is typically a half-day engagement. The Heritage Reference Workshop runs as a full-day session for a small group. The Heritage Records Programme spans several weeks, with sessions scheduled at intervals that suit your household's schedule.

Do you offer legal or estate planning advice?

No. Trustlee is an organisational and educational service. We do not advise on wills, trusts, asset arrangements, or any legal matter. If those questions arise during a session, we will suggest you speak with a qualified professional separately.

What documents do families typically bring out during a session?

Common documents include identity cards, birth and marriage certificates, property titles, insurance policies, bank statements, old photographs, family letters, and similar keepsakes. Sessions work with whatever a household already has — there is no minimum or required set.

Is the Heritage Records Programme available outside Kuching?

We are primarily based in Kuching, Sarawak. For households in other parts of Sarawak, we may be able to make arrangements depending on location and session type. Please contact us to discuss your situation and we will advise on what is possible.

What is the pricing structure?

Our services are priced per engagement: RM 500 for a Family Records Visit, RM 1,350 for a Heritage Reference Workshop, and RM 4,250 for the Heritage Records Programme. All prices are inclusive of materials provided during the session.
